All orders (including backordered items) are valid for 30 days unless you specify otherwise or cancel. We will contact you for authorization when we are ready to ship any item more than 30 days from the order date. All orders must be paid in advance except University and Trade orders from within the United States (see below). See our FAQ (frequently asked questions) for more detail on payment and shipping options. Prices are subject to change.
Ordering Methods: You may order by using our the order graphics on each page. They will take you to our secure Shopping Cart which you can also enter directly from the menu, You may also order by letter, phone, or fax (our online catalogs include an order form you may use for mail or fax orders). The best time to call for phone orders is 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM Pacific Time, but don't hesitate to call any time (including evenings and weekends). Leave a message, if necessary, and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
Backorders: While we strive to keep stock levels high, not every item is always available. We will contact you if any items are out of stock and give you the option of a partial shipment (recommended for large orders). Shipping charges apply to each shipment.
Sales Tax: Nevada residents, please add sales tax based on your county of residence (6.5 - 7.75 percent). Shipping is taxable in Nevada. Our shopping cart will automatically calculate the tax based on your zip code.
- Media Mail (bookrate) to the United States: $4.50 for the first item. Add $.50 for each additional item. Shipping on orders with 6 or more items or items marked as heavy in the catalog, may be computed at cost plus a $2.00 handling charge at our discretion. Shipping time is about 4-7 days to California and 9-14 days to the East Coast. About five percent of orders take longer, occasionally as much as four weeks. Please select Priority Mail if you are in a hurry or have a deadline. Hawaii and Alaska orders require Priority Mail. Very light orders (with no catalogs included) such as one or two CDs will be shipped by First Class Mail at the rate computed for Media Mail.
- Priority Mail to the United States (2-3 days): For orders paid by credit card, Postal Service cost plus $2.00 for handling and packing materials. For orders paid by check you may request the shipping charges from us in advance or enclose $7.00 for the first item and $1.50 for each additional item. Other shipping methods such as UPS or FedEx are available at cost plus $2.00.
- Overseas orders are especially welcome. For shipping charges on overseas orders and Canada, please use our shopping cart to compute estimated shipping, if possible. You may also contact by us by email and we will inform you of the shipping options and costs.
- NOTE: Any additional shipping charges on overseas orders that are not the result of our error are the responsibility of the customer. This includes shipments returned because they could not be delivered and shipments that are not collected by the customer.
Warranty/Refund Policy: We will correct any shipping errors brought to our attention within 30 days of shipping. Books and CDs which are in new condition may be returned at the customer's expense within 30 days of shipping for a full refund. CDs which are defective may be returned at the customer's expense within 30 days of shipping for a replacement or refund at our discretion. We are not responsible for the condition of CD cases. No other warranty is expressed or implied.
Privacy Policy: We will not share any personal information you provide us with any third party except as necessary to process credit card transactions and ship your order. Our shopping cart application uses cookies to pass the items you order from page to page. Your personal and credit card information are NOT stored in a cookie. Cookies are deleted when you close your browser.
