It is in three movements: I. Rubato, II. Lento, and III. Allegretto.

This set of pieces marks the beginning of Vejslev's compositions for
bass clarinet. They were written for Dutch clarinetist Bert Chan (who

college bass clarinetists). An unusual feature of this collection is
that all the pieces are presented in both treble and bass clef. |
